CLASS & STUDIO GUIDELINES

To ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone, please follow these rules when attending classes at Aureum Academy Of Dance:

Before Class:

Wear appropriate dancewear and correct footwear for your class.

Please arrive on time. Entry may be refused if the warm-up has been missed for safety reasons.

During class:

Switch mobile phones to silent or keep them stored away.

No photography or video recording unless approved by your teacher.

No chewing gum at any time.

Food is not permitted in the studio at any time.

Drinks are allowed but only water. For Children these must be consumed during drink breaks as directed by the teacher.

Guidelines For Taking Part In Dance Classes

Dance is a great way to stay active and healthy, but safety and wellbeing are our priority. Please read the following guidelines before attending classes:

If you have any medical conditions or injuries that may affect your ability to exercise, consult your doctor before starting classes.

Common conditions that may require medical clearance include:

Arthritis or joint problems

Diabetes

Epilepsy

High or low blood pressure

Pregnancy

Headaches, dizziness, or fainting

Heart conditions or chest pain

Respiratory conditions

Before you start

Inform your instructor if you have any concerns about your health or if you need modifications for certain movements.

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring children are fit and able to participate in dance activities.

Important Notice

By attending our classes, you agree to participate at your own risk. Aureum Academy Of Dance cannot be held responsible for any injuries or health issues arising from participation.

Always listen to your body and stop immediately if you feel unwell during a session.

Once a dancer has become established with Aureum Academy Of Dance at a competitive level or equivalent, we expect full commitment to our school as the sole provider of their dance training. This ensures consistency, development, and the best possible results for the dancer's progress.

If a dancer wishes to take part in external lessons, workshops, or events, prior approval must be obtained from an Aureum instructor before attending.

If a dancer is found to be attending additional training elsewhere without prior approval, it will be assumed that they wish to terminate their place at Aureum Academy Of Dance with immediate effect.
